As a nonprofit organization and social enterprise, Working Credit operates through both fee-based and philanthropic income. To date, philanthropy has generously supported our work in two ways. Citi Community Development (Chicago), Experian, The Herr Foundation, Walter S. Mander Foundation, Guaranty Bank, United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, JP Morgan Chase, Robert R. McCormick Foundation, Baskin Family Foundation, Chicago Community Trust and an anonymous donor have contributed directly to Working Credit. The Polk Bros. Foundation and Citi Community Development (Boston) have contributed, as well—making grants to nonprofit employers and municipalities so they can pay for our services.
