At Working Credit, every credit journey tells a story of growth and possibility. As part of Financial Capability Month, we’re proud to highlight Bryanne, a team member at Tyson Foods, who is building stronger financial habits and moving closer to her goals.
Bryanne grew up in Arizona and relocated to Arkansas three years ago for her role at Tyson Foods. Her journey with Working Credit began with a workplace benefit that gave her access to our services. Bryanne knew she wanted more control over her financial future and a clear plan to reach her goals.
“I really wanted to start saving for a house and figure out the best way to pay off my consumer debt,” she shared.
That motivation led her to connect with a Working Credit counselor and begin building a strategy. “One key lesson I learned was to be patient and diligent during this process,” she said. “It takes time to rebuild and create healthy habits, but being patient with yourself is so important.”
Bryanne’s consistency is paying off. Her credit score has increased to 732.
“Because of the work I did with Working Credit, I was able to build habits to become more financially responsible and independent,” she shared. “I’m just a couple months away from clearing all my consumer debt, and my credit score is higher than it’s ever been.”
“The thought of buying a house doesn’t seem so far-fetched anymore.”
What Financial Capability Means:
“It means having the ability to say yes, but the restraint to say no,” she explained. “I’ve learned to be more mindful of my purchases and more thoughtful about my decisions.”
Her advice to those who are unsure about starting:
“If you have the opportunity to take advantage of a resource like Working Credit, don’t hesitate. What do you have to lose?”
